I found this today...
Some really good info on the Electra copies, and a picture of the model number sticker on one, reading 2245 or 2246...
(I have a photo of one with a 2255 model number as well)

Dang, who'd have thought that there were so many copies of this guitar? I know I wouldn't have. Funny thing is, the Electra that recently sold on eBay didn't have that slide in/slide out 'ramp' for the pickup that the Ampegs have, but I could have sworn that I had seen it before... the site you supplied substantiates that there were indeed multiple Electra versions, as well as like 5 other companies making this copy. Thanks for enlightening us, Mike.

OK... so I grabbed a BIN auction, and now have a neck...

It just arrived today. it still had the model number sticker on the back!
Model Number: 2246
Serial No: 145

I've got a picture of one with a Model Number 2255, Ser No: 72x (very hard to tell. 72 may be wrong too...)

So, this neck, the other pics I have, and info/pics off the pages in the link in the first post in this thread...
It looks like we have 2 model numbers to add to the model Listing Page....

Model No. 2246
Dan Armstrong copy, Lucite Guitar. single slide in pickup and neck bolt pattern that apparently matches the original DA.
Bridge/tail, and saddles also similar to original DA.
(Similar to Ventura model)

Model No. 2255
Dan Armstrong copy, Lucite Guitar. 2 humbucker pickups in standard mount config (no slide in) and a shorter/neck bolt pattern to account for the extra pickup....
Bridge/tail, and saddles are tun-o-matic style with stop.
(Similar to Conrad model, but eh DA type headstock...)

So, for those of you that have one of these, does yours fit the description for model numbers above, and can you measure the neck bolt spacing.....
