OK, I saw it and could have jumped on it, but somethings not quite right on this one. Buy it Now is reasonable considering I haven't seen one on eBay in two years. Thing that made my scrunch up my face is that the tuners are totally corroded, like really BAD, pickup and mount are also corroded, and the tailpeice has been replaced (oh, and missing the pickguard, no biggie). I tell you, my heart was pounding, but the more I look at the pictures I think this one was underwater (or something...) at one time, maybe it was in Katrina!

Body looks shiny and clean, at least in the photos, which doesn't seem to match the hardware issues. Anyway, I'm sure someone will scoop it up, but I'm gonna pass, its a shame, because I have the other two guitars in the 'Van' catalog photo and was really hoping to recreate that picture someday... someday... someday... Well it's gone already... within 3 hours of being listed and only 20 people had looked at the Auction when it ended. The body looks like it cleaned up great, however something is up with the hardware being so messed up. I could have swung the purchase, but it just didn't seem right. I'm not a condition snob, you guys have seen Ray and the Outlaw, should I regret not jumping on it? I don't know yet. If someone here picked it up, stand up and be recognized!

Here's another one, haven't seen one in two years, and now two of them pop up within weeks of each other! This one seems cleaner than the one in the first auction, has no 'buy it now' but a lower starting bid, I'm sure it'll be snapped up by somebody:

I don't think that's the stock tailpiece. Hope seller posts some better close up pictures, I'd love to pickup one of these just for bragging rights, but it could get pricey by the time it's all said and done, and I have to justify paying (probably more than any other Electra I've bought...) for a Jazz Box that I may pickup and play three times a year... decisions decisions, Mike.

We got in the X510 a few days back it was undressed today. Near flawless finish, all hardware in superb condition. She's a beauty!! My Gold Top Super Rock is coming in today, we'll open her up over the weekend. I'll get all the pics up when I return to Park City early January.
