Time for a repair. What normally goes out on these?

I remember some posts a while back that mentioned that the contacts can get dirty but are easly cleaned with a pencil eraser. Beyond that I would think you would nead the schematic to diagnose it. Good luck.

I've done a repair on one module before, totally rebuilt one with all new components, and built a new one on an empty circuit board/case I picked up... the new one was a POwer Overdrive module, but I can't remember the one I re-did....

the fuzz module I have has all the waxy like stuff inside the box. as I recall, it was a royal PITA last time I did this :)

my experience has been that the usual cause of problems is a cold solder joint... usually at one of the capaciters.... wiggle them and see if one gives or comes loose... if so... just apply the iron to it and all should be well... if it is beyond that, then it is beyond me.... hope this helps

 I couldn't wiggle enything, since it's wax filled, but with my 8x lupe, I was able to see some questionable joints...
touched 'em all up, and it fuzzes fine now!

thanks!
