They use the same pickups as the Rails, so I can pretty much guarantee they sound amazing.

Those that have 'em on the Westone forum like 'em; I've got a Spectrum GT Bass which has the same p'ups and it has a great set of sounds.

I'm not sure about master guru, but I do have several Westone basses and I know more about the Rail basses than most; I have three. Westone's Magnabass series of pickups is pretty outstanding, and the Magnaflux RBs (Magnaflux Rail Bass perhaps?) seem to stand out the most to my ear. I've never gotten to play a Quantum, and $250 is a steal, but I really need to save money right now so I'll pass on this one.
