Looks like it was left to die in a basement ot attic somewhere. Can she be brought back.Maybe but will take a true craftsman to do it way more than I can handle.

If it worked, I'd snatch it up and go straight to gigging it. But it doesn't work, so oh well.

Rick must have gotten ahold of the listing and forced them to cancel it. They are great about that. Anything remotely resembling a Rick and they threaten ebay and ebay will cancel the listing. I have seen it with other guitars too.

Of course, this guitar more than just resembles a Rick!

It would have been worth it for parts. I didn't see ANYTHING about what was wrong with it and why it had to be sold for parts.

Some people would call this "heavily reliced"

yeah, if it was a neck through version I'd try and save it....
looks like it went through a flood...

I offered the guy $40 for it... I could use the TRC and tuners, and maybe the electronics, but hard to say. I think $40 might even be too much...

Why would you list it without an explanation about *why* it is not repairable and is being sold for parts. Yeah, it looks rough. But, is the neck like a pretzel? I have seen guys here fix some really bad stuff - I am saying I have been impressed on what *can* be fixed. I have seen some pretty rough looking guitars that are perfectly playable too.

I am not a bass player so I am not going to buy it. I bet Ric will shut him down. If you want to contact him you had better get his email so you can reach him if they do. I had a copy once and I didn't even try to sell it on ebay for that reason. I think I wound up selling it on harmony central or one of those sites.

wow, someone grabbed it up at that price!

if it get's restored, it'll definitely be a job :) I think worse than the neck repair one I did....
with the multi-layer body, and the formerly crushed control cavity area, it'll need some bondo....

Did they? I looked in the sold items and didn't see it there. I looked it up and it said it was not available. I didn't see it in the sold section. So I assume Ric shut them down.

I've seen them remove an auction even after it was done...., and someone forced the seller to refund the money, and I had to send an email back to the guy stating I had received the refund....

the guy was already on their radar from the first auction...

there are ways around... I saw 5 that went through without incident... 8)
