Chock me up as another member of that club Thorny & McB. 12 or 15 past Electras and a beloved little 1978 Brat I drove from 1981-1983. And I miss both the Electras and that sweet little silver Brat...I may have to acquire another Electra to quell the pangs...LOL.

After viewing your vehicle page, it's obvious that you are one sick, sick individual!

I wonder how many collective quarts of oil your entire history of EA engines have leaked? Props on the XT Turbo. I've never driven a "flying doorstop" but I've always been intrigued by them. I think I know where that Outback ended up. Let me look around...

Yeah, found it. I knew I recognized the patchwork body, and the mashup powertrain! A local kid got it a year or so ago.

Then he painted it:

And, sadly, recent news is that he's thrown a rod drag racing. Punk.

Did you sell it to him, or did it pass through someone else?

Electra playing Subaru drivers. That's got to be a small subset.

I have 2 Subaru's and 6 Electra's. I guess I need more Subaru's. :)

I was doing some searching today and saw an old post on legacy central from ultra sonic :)

I'm picking up a '94 SS this weekend... 8)

Looks very nice! Manual or automatic?

My 94 turbo wagon is in similar condition at 105k miles, but my 91 turbo sedan is quite rusty at 160k miles.

Yes, it is. Renegade Hybrids in Las Vegas does a nice conversion, from what I have seen.

The 2.2 in mcbrats new Sport Sedan would be a nice donor also. More potential than a stock 2.0 short block but would require extra effort and tuning. The 2.2 came from the factory w/ forged internals, and a very strong closed deck block. In stock form it is limited by the single cam heads, small turbo, and lack of intercooler.
