Hello!
Thought I would make a more formal hello and introduction to everyone here...and say, what a great forum and resource. Cheers Cheers.....

My name is Joey and I am a guitara-holic. ;)

I recently got sucked into Electras while looking for a Japanese SG copy. Well, I found one (2259), but then decided to buy another 2 from the collector (X-810 / 2236 V), followed by one more I found out yonder in these interwebs (X-350).

My wife and I live on in Santa Cruz, California Coast (near SF) and both play and love guitars. BUT, we had to come to an agreement regarding our purchases. That being, one comes in, and another goes out.
So, by her suggestion, I created a webpage for our guitars and instead of just having them up as a gallery, take offers (because, really everything has its price, no?). (www.guitarsushi.com)

Okay, enough enough, I know you really want to see the pics anyway, so here they are...Thanks for having me.

(You'll may also notice that I watermark EVERYTHING. I started doing this because we discovered our pictures are easily found through google images and Ive found my images posted in related forums just about everywhere. I might as well get credit for the hires pics, no?) ;)

Hello Joey...welcome to the forums. I love Ibanez and Electras a bit too much myself, I think. You have some beautiful pieces of art there.

One thing though...you should think about making it easier to email you from your commercial site. I have questions about your 75 Ibanez LP neck. What color is the finish, any significant damage, and is the fretboard itself squared or rounded at the heel?

Thanks....jd

Nice group there. FYI, your Flying Wedge I believe is the VERY guitar listed on the index page, down to the missing truss rod cover, dual white bobbin pickups, moved strap button... and the grain of the wood.

http://www.rivercityamps.com/electrapag ... 007-035515

I contacted the Craigs List seller when it was available and he sent me some closeups which confirmed (down to the wood grain) that it was the same guitar, when asked about it, he didn't seem to want to elaborate and I left it at that. You can see in the index picture that it is missing the tailpiece and bridge, so the ones on there currently are most likely not original (no biggie). Just thought you'd like to know, enjoy them!
