It's not the greatest shot composition wise, but I wanted to snap a picture of the group before ElectraFest 2010, because the X650jb wont be coming back... I've picked up a few since the last family photo, most notably the Longnecker (which I got from McB) and the Flying Wedge (that I took off Sushi's hands). Sushi took much better pictures than I could of, if the link still works check it out here:

http://www.guitarsushi.com/item/guitar/ ... index.html

Not a museum piece or anything, but a nice example, and I believe it is the same guitar at the top of the Index page (with no bridge or tailpiece on it, ones on it now are replacements). I can only bring so many guitars to EF 2010, and if there is any one in particular you'd like to see there, well I'm taking requests! (X120, X150 and the Wedge are definitely coming along) Two weeks to go people, Cheers, Mike.

If you don't show up with the X120, you're not getting in the door!

Anything else is bonus, as far as I'm concerned.

8) Very cool and very nice collection you have. I had looked at the V as well but was unable to make a go for it. If I can vote I vote for the maple Pro and X810. I had hoped to be there with my X410 and Elvin so we could see the 3 together again. It really sux to miss this one. Thanks for all the well wishes from all.

The soulful Maple Pro (Ray) will be coming! The switch is working much better and he's just a really cool guitar. The output jack on the X810 is acting up, so I probably wont be bringing that one. The Leslie West X120 was going to be my MPC example, and what a chunky little rare bird it is!

you've got some other non Electras too.....any way to get the extended family in a single pic?

Is it possible, yeah... Will I ever get around to it? probably not... It's a lot of work, and like you said, somethings always obscured in the picture or it's out of focus at the edges. When you see those huge collection pictures, its always like in a driveway or backyard, and you can't see any details on the guitars (Although that wall shot from JDranow was exceptional, lots of guitars and respectable detail). I think if you try to get more than eight to ten guitars in a picture and there is going to be issues, either with focus, size or detail.

I own 3 Charvels (guitar-logo, 80's era) and they are pretty indestructible. No Jacksons here (congrats on your score), I could never afford them back then, but as I understand it, the Charvels were basically Jackson parts on a Japanese Guitar, which was (is) cool with me. Like Electras, their resale has been weak... so I just hold onto them.

Latest dilemma, I only want to take one Endorser, I'm leaning towards the wide flame with the Bookmatched block body... maybe someone from SLM can tell me more about it. I've never seen another X935cs that is bookmatched like that. Mike.

V E R Y nice collection there. I'm envious. You've just renewed my wants for a maple pro....I think that's an itch that's gonna be around for a long time.

By the way....lookie here what I just swapped for. I'm callin this a pre-Matt (Yamaki) early 1982 Falcon Rosewood (B-model). It has all the same characteristics as the Eagle Rosewood except for the multiple binding found on the Eagle....and it's a beauty, that Brazilian grain is exceptional.
