Headstock has been snapped off, but other than that it looks straight (original). This is one of the rare Invictas with a bookmatched maple top and headstock veneer (maybe one out of ten had that), interesting that none of the X250, X270 or X960's that I've seen had that option. Also comes with a nice case. Could be a real find for someone looking for a project. Have fun, Mike.


Bottom line is that the case, tuners and pickups are worth the opening bid... but this one deserves to live again.

That's a hard repair to fix, regardless of what the seller says. Too bad, pretty guitar!

I sent an email off to my luthier. I might snag it if he thinks he can do a good repair job. Im afraid that one is beyond my modest skills.

I think if the price stays low it would be worth the gamble to try and get a good luthier to repair it. Looks great except for the headstock damage. It would be nice to see this one brought back to life again.

Well the hardluck Invicta ended up going for $177 plus shipping... I guess someone wanted it pretty bad! Cool, at least at that price I doubt she'll get chopped up for parts. Anyone here bid (or win...) on it?
