Oops...looks like I found a flip on this one fellas. 275.00 OBO from Odessa CL recent. That would be quite a profit at 880.00........ :bawl:

I offered 500.00........

Oh, yeah, and when I got it it had no jack and the wiring was messed up and it was filthy - now it's clean and fixed -- I make no bones about it, this is what I do for a living !! But I am a musician and love guitars !!! It's gonna take a bit more than 5, lot of interest in this one !!!! thanks, Dave (didn't realize that was your offer jd) (and I paid the 275 !! could have got it cheaper but was so excited I didn't notice the missing jack - duh !!!)

Morning Dave...we're Electra collectors here for the most part. We grab 'em up cause we love 'em as instruments AND art. I think "investment" is at least #3...possibly further on down. Flipping is fine if that's what you want to do.....but you have your bolt SM priced up around set neck prices. I flip quite a bit of stuff also...non Electras/Ibanez, trade stuff.

100% profit I would have thought reasonable....but, that's just me. I still like the guitar, but under 6 bills would be my personal limit in a bolt SM.

I did music for a living myself for a number of years....if musicians didn't have wives and girlfriends, they wouldn't have a place to stay at night.

I sent e-mail to the clist one but I have never gotten a response back. Dave yours is nice but my EGAS fever is about to get me killed by my wife so I guess a good wife is somewhat of a temp cure for EGAS. I have had EGAS to the extreme so I guess she has a right to fuss a little.

Yeah this one is nicer than my "mystery solved" one - thanks to you guys for the info on that one -- my part-time day job is pretty stressful (drug abuse counselor) and I buy n sell guitars not just for the money - I love it !! I drove 290 miles to get this one - I kinda see myself as rescuing guitars and getting them into the hands of those who can appreciate them, either as players, collectors, or as works of "art" -- I'll be happy getting around 6 for this one, I know the BIN is a bit high - but these aren't too common !!! I travel 1500 to 2000 miles monthly for guitars and I guarantee when all is added up I make about $15 an hour !!! (then again, I put in a LOT of hours LOL) thanks, dave
