I will be needing a cream colored pickguard and chrome mounting bracket for a 1982 X330 MPC if anyone can help me. Also, would like at least one working module of any kind for the same guitar if somebody has a duplicate they want to sell.

I believe I have a gold plated pickguard bracket from a late 70s X310 MPC to offer if you need one of these.

Thanks.

A standard Les Paul pickguard will work with very minor modification - same with the bracket.

Thanks for that confirmation Jead, I thought it might and I have seen plenty of availability. Just hope I don't have to butcher up the pick guard too much to get one on.

They look great without the guard too, that's why so many guys lost 'em. You might want to try to find, or fabricate a clear one, those are darn cool, and lots of Electra's came with those. When does it arrive? Drink in that flame before you cover it up man, Mike.

For about $8 you can get a pane of plexiglass at Home Depot or Lowe's. A template of another Electra guard would be useful to trace your outline - then a jigsaw/dremel and a sanding block will do the job. If you don't have a template, I'll take my guard off my 330 and trace, scan, and post here for you. I use that plexiglass anytime I need to make a cover plate etc. It's very nice as acover for mpc cavity. You can see what modules you have loaded and in which position. I tend to grab an MPC and find the modules are in another guitar. Hmmm..... maybe I need more modules.

Thanks for all the tips guys, I believe I will just pick up a Mighty Mite kit for the Les Paul.

You are right Jead, we all need...MORE MODULES!
