This one may not show up on an Electra search because of the way the seller listed it in the title:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEWAX:IT

Of course this one would show up as a suggestion as soon as I bought the other one with no modules or pickguard!

Guys, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this one. How outrageous do you think the price is? I'm seeing slightly worse examples selling for less money on GBase.

Eight hundred and twenty-three dollars. I can't believe I just spent that much money on any Electra besides an Elvin Bishop! Put that one in the history books.

Oh well. You can never pay too much, you can only buy too soon.

Eight Bills..!!! That's some serial discretionary funds man. There are past records of guys paying more than that for a LP MPC, but few have been as clean as that one looks, Good Score!! Can I suggest Page 33 of your Book for this one? (wink wink) Salute, Mike.

This was indeed a pristine and excellent example of the model. Guess that makes it worth it if you like it. Great score congrats.

Very, very nice looking guitar - and supercharged too! :o (I don't even know what the supercharge does - I have an X730 supercharge and I can't seem to tell that the circuit does anything   - I guess it's like having an amp that goes to 11 :D ).
Congrats!!!

Jack, you can thank me later for swiping up the less minty X330 and saving you from possibly buying both. I knew this one would not last so I am glad I posted the auction in the forum so a member could pick it up. It always feels good to buy something you know you may not ever have the chance to buy again...besides, break it up into two or three credit card payments and you won't feel a thing. Enjoy my friend!

If you happen to come across any modules for sale, you can sling them my way since my X330 ain't coming with any.

The bad news: Something's wrong with the modules or the wiring (see R&R forum)

The good news: IT'S A MONSTER.

I own a few Gibsons, from Nashville and from the Custom Shop. I have a flametop red '09 ES339 that the Memphis shop foreman called "the best guitar we made this month, at least".

I have a few Heritages, including the 2008 NAMM show H-555 with every option, thick solid wood, and Duncan '59s.

This guitar murders them. Even using a Roland VGA-3, which is my "in a hurry/don't care" amp in my living room, it pours out tone. Without a setup it's still perfect to play. It looks like a million bucks.

Although my shipped price was in the $820 range, I've never gotten so much value out of a guitar. I don't care if I have to have the entire MPC section rewired from scratch.

I have been smiling since I took it out of the case. My only problem: I'm afraid to ever let it leave the house again. I'm going up to Toronto tonight and I've love to take it, but how could I replace it?

Photos when I come back.
