Very early I assume PCM model slimline hollowbody that looks OK. Not to good looking a BIN but maybe it will stay low.

I've had a Teisco and a Decca that had either the exact or a very similar bridge. The ones I had both just sat on the top of the guitar. The roller itself would have been pretty nice if it had been mounted on studs. Both guitars were nice to look at but were constructed badly and played pretty badly too. This PCM looks pretty Teisco-like to me.

**EDIT**
After another look the knobs and the whammy are the same as the Decca/Teisco too. I'd bet money the PUP's are microphonic.

I've never seen that body style before, are there any catalog photos out there McB? I was thinking someone may have bolted on a Electra neck to something else. It looks pretty clean, but I tend to shy away from these early hollow bodies. It does look cool and fairly unique, Mike.

Good point. it's definitley and SLM neck...
I reviewed all my catalogues, and couldn't find one like it... but I only go back to '73

there's a sticker on the back of the headstock... "Zapf's Music Store" looks to be an older Philly based store....

from the close ups, the neck is a pretty good fit....

The neck has a truss rod cover, yet the body has a divot for adjustment at the base of the neck... so I'm not convinced this is the original neck. Further confusing the point (but more than a little entertaining!) are the two supplied clips imbedded in the auction showing "clips of this kind of guitar being used" on a 'Solid Gold' type variety show (love the outfits!). I've never seen a guitar quite like this, and he happens to have videos of another like it being used? Hmmm. Go crazy guys, I'm staying out of this one! Mike.

I'm confused about this one too. It's a TeiscoDecElectra or something. Sure seems to be some kind of hybrid.

if you look at the close ups, the neck has an adjustment hole at the base....

This guitar was made by Kawai. There were several Kawai and Teiscos (made by Kawai) with this same body and somewhat unique control setup.
