Nice collection. I like the red one and I also like the Alvarez guitars. They are exceptional quality and sound. I have an alvarez Acoustic electric sunburst 650CSB I love it. Watch out for the Electra Egas I started with only a few and now I have fewmore thanks to my rampant Egas. They are all great guitars. The 420 does not have the coil tap in stock configuration. Enjoy it it looks great.

Thanks guys. The Alvarez is a newer model but man does it sound nice. The action on that guitar is great as well. I'm thinking of returning my 2252 to stock and I'll have to find something else to put those high order pickups in if I do. I will be playing the 420 a lot here over the next few weeks.

I bought an Alvarez 12 string that was kind of a wreck and improved it a bit. My only complaint on Alvarez are always the tuners.

I was also lucky enough to have a Yairi just about fall into my lap recently - it also needed some help.

Actually, the tuners on this one are pretty good. Not as good as what is on that x420 though. Those are very nice tuners, very smooth.
