The price is reasonable, but remember that without the electronics and in its modified state, it will not have the resale that a stock instrument would have. Things changed that I noticed: tailpiece, pickup selector, pickups, volume/tone rewired, MPC circuit removed.

If you want to hold on to it forever, and don't really use the MPC, it's an OK deal. Mike.

I always hate to see a nice guitar(especially an MPC) gutted. These were unique guitars and great players. If I wanted a LP setup I would just buy the LP or LP copy. I guess these are a bit lighter with the hollowed out MPC cavity. Hope it finds a n owner that will restore it to original.

^ Right ^ I don't get it. What's not to like about the MPC circuitry? Onboard electronics were/are pretty unique and the 3 way is not as versatile as the rotary (even though I still prefer a 3 way for quick flippin').

Yeah, I didn't read the ebay description last night, it is gutted -- if he doesn't sell it, I'll hit him up with less $$ -
