saw a really nice westone concord at six strings down - almost like new and has a case with it. For those that are interested here is a link. Not affiliated with the store but is a good friend and I have bought a lot of stuff there. He also sold me last years phoenix cheaply so that we could donate it for a prize - so definitely a friend of the group.

An email request for more info has been sent.

Can you give me an idea of his willingness to consider offers? $300 is a bit out of my range on that one at the moment.

Thanks Thorny.

An offer is certainly worth a try - I do it all the time. Sometimes he can deal, sometimes he can't. But I would hope you could wiggle a little bit out of him. You have to talk to him though. Worst that could likely happen is that he has already sold it or he says no. He is a very reasonable person.

Thanks for the insight. I sent a request via his site mailer. Shipping cost would be the the deal killer like usual for me. We shall see.

YIPPIE-SKIPPIE ! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

You were certainly correct Thorny. Dave is one of the good guys.

Going out tomorrow and should get it this coming Tuesday. His opinion is that most of the blemished should come out with a wet sanding and buff. Any tips / pointers on this would be appreciated.

I have a bud on the Mats forum who provided some helpful opinions but if anyone here has experience they are willing to share I would be all ears. :D

Good deal! Glad you got it! Yes, I have bought a ton of guitars from Dave for a reason - he always treats me right.
