Interesting guitars and interesting setup and hardware also. They do look very much like the Aria brand.

Yep they are Matsumoku products, made for a retailer that rejected them. They ended up being sold by JC Penny. Only one lot was made. There were three models, a bolt neck, a set neck, and this neck-through.
