That is one of the cleanest I have seen in a while. The neck looks in real good shape. Aside from cleaning up the bridge(polish), nothing left to do but play it!

What's up with the serial number?

Is it '000' or 1121959?

The serial number is 1121959 Each of the anniversary models made also have the anniv. plate attached and it also has a serial number(I think it was the number out of that models production)

Good to see that you're still on the Hunt Jack! But I'd think anything over 1.3 million is a little high personally.


This one as you can see was actually made in December of 1981 by the serial number, and some of these early 'anniversary' guitars have both serial numbers on them, I think Jack has a couple like that. '000' is pretty cool, although I couldn't tell from the photos if there is a fourth digit that has been photo-shopped out or anything, still pretty interesting if it's 000.

I still think that the Anniversary plates were just a marketing gimmick, and with many there is no other neck stamp, so you don't know exactly which month they were made, not that it's that big a deal. Although with a whole chunk of Electra's that are impossible to date (foil tags), it's cool to know the 'Birth Date' of your guitar.

I still like the X130's a little better with the see through finishes and lighter bodies made out of Ash personally... but good luck to all the bidders, this one wont disappoint. Mike.

Well, I screwed the pooch... got stuck in traffic in a no-data-service area and missed the auction close. I feel sick to my stomach. These anniversary editions are very special to me.
