used to be mine a few years ago ...

nice! This is the one in some of the model pics... I bought it from a music shop some years back now, and fixed up some wiring and put a real RIC bridge pup in it... I also put on a Hipshot redesigned bridge with lots better adjustments than the stock stly bridge...

I miss it...

it's listed on my Corsair page as a variant to the later model corsairs... but origin is hard to tell on this one... I've seen other branded ones identical on some of the specs, but don't remember which ones... (you gotta get down to the nitty gritty on the neck thru copies... scale, skunk stripe width, body width, truss rod route in headstock)

it's about as close to the real deal as you can get, apart from the dual truss rods. the normal Corsair neck thrus were 34" scale, and this one is the correct 33.25" scale. and with the upgrades I did, it's about the right price...

when I sold it, was liquidating everything to cut my debt and sell my house, and I've been kicking myself ever since... so it's not really a record if it's just coming back home

Am I reading this correctly? Have you re-acquired the bass? If so, congratulations - it is indeed a beauty. I had a Rick 4003 fireglo fretless for many years and the Electra has a finish that looks just as nice.

arrived safely home today... has obviously been played in the last 3 years, as the fretboard could use a good cleaning, and the bridge has some pitting started, but man it feels good...

Congratulations man, now I don't feel so bad about giving you first crack at that white Rail. The laminated neck through has got to be the pinnacle of RickenFakery. Cheers, Mike.
