Man this makes the other Burgandy Pro look pale by comparison people. Note the Logo with a Circle around the peacesign (McB Definitely lift that photo for your webpage man!!). This is a real oddity with the Wave headstock, but a trapeze tailpiece. I don't think I've ever seen a Burgandy Pro with as flamey a top before either. Just a really beautiful Instrument.

I'm wondering if this was a special mock-up piece or something for NAMM? I could handle the opening bid, but something tells me this one will go for LOTS, possibly a grand, which I can't swing. Congrats in advance to whomever takes this beauty home... (where's that drool emoticon?)

 8) 8) This one has a gorgeous top indeed. I agree that maybe it was a NAAM model or maybe a factory sample that lost out to the one we love so much. This one will be interesting to watch.

Truly an unusual looking - and beautiful - guitar.

Has anyone ever seen an Electra logo like this?

I wonder if Tom Presley can enlighten us?

RCSBlues

Mortgage Park Place... nobody ever lands on that anyways!

Surprised nobody's even bid yet... maybe waiting for the other Burgundy to end.

that what I figured was happening... plus with a deent starting bid on it, people wouldn't want to push the amount up early :)

I finlly got a chance to grab the headstock pic and look at the pictures better (than on my phone) and the wood is definitely interesting... almost more of a birdseye or spalted maple look... and the catalogue states this should have a mahogany top...

I can't believe this went for that little-once the bidding started,I would have thought this one would have eclipsed the thousand mark......
If I had known or been around for the end,I would have definitely jumped in-always a day late and a dollar short :(
Joe

Well I hope some member scored this one. i was occupied at auction end and missed it by $10 bummer but thats Ok I scoed a near mint Super magnum LP and a nice Jacarranda LP plus other Westones so I am Happy and in full Egas epidemic. That was a unique one indeed.

These are different Burgundy pros... If you look at the back of the headstock, one has a sticker, the other doesn't. Never seen this logo before, and two of them show up a month apart on eBay, go figure. I think the first one was in better shape, with a nice case it ended at just shy of $800, this one should be less without a case and not in as sparkling shape... just my two cents.

P.S. I think the logo ends up looking like a Jack-o-lantern with that ring around it!

I thought the exact same thing. I was hoping no one else would see this one. I am high bidder right now and am prepared to go even higher. If anyone needs to know just how high then they should PM me. i do not want to get into a bidding war with other members - it really doesn't benefit any of us (unless you're looking to cash one in).
