This is pretty much THE Holy Grail as far as Westone goes. It is a shame to see it so heavily dinged up but if you like relics then this would be the one to pony up for...

It doesn't look too bad to me for having been bounced off a floor.

Actually Jead it has had a bit more wear and tear than that I think. A link to the Westone site...

http://forum.westoneguitars.net/t2586-p ... y-for-sale

The guy who posted this thread joined there for the sole purpose of gauging value for a buddy of his, who I am assuming is the seller over at ebay. He also did the same thing over at Harmony Central about a week or so earlier.

At least you can get a little better gander at the damage at this link. Only 4 dozen were made in total for one year in 1986 if memory serves.

Westone did have in their Pantera catalog that year an option to get an x390 in the same finish, but I and anyone else I know (of in the know) have never run across one.

Still not as bad as a mangled headstock on a Maple Pro/Elvin. It's been banged around a bit for sure but the top still looks pretty good to me. Good thing I have my hands full in Electra world. Last thing I need is another brand of GAS.

Alas I am suffering from both Electra and Westone Egas at the same time. I saw this one also but I am going to watch it first and see where it goes. It is nice but is a player grade guitar. Hard to gauge a price on these as they are as rare as the X910 models I believe. Egas, Egas, Egas, tough but what a way to suffer with all these great instruments. Maybe I can abstain from this one as I have several other irons in the fire at the moment. Thats the good thing about multiple egas. You spend so much time looking that b the time you get around to bidding etc it's already gone so that keeps it in check somewhat. lol

Is there a number on how many X910s were made? Tom Presley has let us know via the Westone forums that only 48 X350MAs were ever made.

That said, they seem to show up slightly more often than X910s, perhaps due to being less fragile than X910s.
