This is going to be an Egas buster for certain. Do not wish a bid war but I got the wifes blessings on this one as it has all 12 MPC modules and the guitar and she knows I have been after these for awhile. This ones gonna hurt as bad as the holy grail X910 I think.Good Luck to all.

I think it's reaching a point of diminishing returns. I really can't see it getting much higher - But I bet it will!!!
Good luck Arthur!

passed $1700... definitely collector war. I don't think there's much room left to split it up and resell, to make it worth it...

New Electra Record $1988.88 ouch. I thought I had this one in the bag and got sniped in the last few seconds. I wanted this one bad but I guess someone else wanted it more. I was willing to go higher and thought I had set the bid in but I must have messed up somewhere. Thats my luck with this model it seems I always lose it in the last few seconds. I hope it found a good home and will be enjoyed and not just parted out or flipped. I did not even get the usual been out bid mail as the winning bid hit in the last few seconds. Oh well maybe next time. Thats alot of green for an electra and I think that the 11 MPC modules helped push this one over the top. We will see if and how quick they show up on the bay then we will know. I hope they stay intact with someone that will appreciate them. At this price it must be a collector so good luck to them.

Awww I was rooting for ya man. That's a bummer. I was keeping an eye on it for the past couple of
days setting on needles. I knew it was going to take a jump from 1700 in the last few min of the auction.
But I was hoping someone here would get it. Was a very nice looking fiddle.

Know how you feel, got sniped a few days ago on an Electra I was dying for... complained about it in this very thread and had a PM waiting for me with a guitar offer that was 50x the other one was. So, who knows what deal fate already has lined up for you that will actually top this one. I don't know if it will be the same day like mine was, but it sounds like you're due for luck turnaround.

Well shoot. Sorry to hear that you missed out Arthur.

I am sure you will end up on the long side of the stick eventually.

No worries from me this time. I will eventually come across that one and the others(X910, X510 etc) as I am always on the lookout. I am happy to announce that I just scored a beauty of an Electra X420VS from forum member J. D. I had been wanting one of these for some time also and they always seemed to slip past me or I missed them so I am Happy now that I can cross this one off the list. Many , Many , Many more to go. Will try to get caught up on my pics of these new additions when they arrive.
1. Jaccarunda LP Proto type
2. Super Nice Invicta from Mike also
3. X420VS from J.D.
4. Super clean and nice Super Magnum Tree of Life(bolt on torch logo)
5. Standard Jaccarunda LP Custom
Still on the wanted list are X910, X510, X930 charcoal Vulcan, Dicky Betts model endorser, and many more.
Thanks to all the members that worked with me and allowed me to add these beauties to my family. they will be cared for and enjoyed. Gonna be anawesome Electrafest this year I think. Arthur
