Most of you probably read my story in the general discussion area. And most have tried to talk me into keeping it which made me gain even more respect for all the folks in this forum. And I don't think I could pick a better place to let her go in. I have many guitars but one I'm working really hard to get back. And that's my dads Vintage telecaster, it has the most memories and I would love to get it back in keep it in the family but i know he's going to ask a pretty penny for it. But I know I'll get it back in time. It isn't going anywhere. So.......lets get to the nitty gritty...

I want to be just as fair to you guys as I know you will be to me as I only have a rough figure into what the guitar is worth and still don't know as much as you great folks to about these fine guitars. So here is all the info on this guitar, including pictures and video. It's in pretty fair shape. we'll start with the flaws.

Flaws: (None Major)
Pick guard is cracked
Pots are a little scratchy
plug/Jack may need replaced
Back plate for wires is missing (as seen in picture)
I cleaned it up a lot but will still need some elbow grease for tarnish and such

All in all i personally think this guitar is in great condition but just needs a little TLC which I have no doubt it will get. I tested it and after 20 years of setting in the case everything still works tone knobs, modules, volume, pickup switch...like I said it's just a little scratchy at times.

It will come with:
Electra Guitar
original hard-shell case
8 Modules
*2- Filterfollowers
*2- Phase Shifters
*1- Tank Tone
*1- Power Overdrive
*1- tube Sound
*1- Octave Box

I really don't know the worth or how much any of this should be. I haven't done that much research, well wasn't at first planning on selling. Just getting history. Which is why I'm selling it here. 1. I know it will go to the right person and be cared for and played 2. I feel I'll get a fair price. Just like anyone else I would love to get as much as I can but I'm also not a greedy person either and want to find a happy medium.

So I figure I would make post..let you folks talk with each other and let me know the best way to go.
I wasn't planning on piecing it out. But if that would be better than let me know.

Here are the pictures plus the video if you haven't seen it already...

If you guys/gals need more pictures or anything at all please let me know.

Thank you so much for your knowledge and time and I will definitely be sticking around and hanging out and keeping in touch. So many great folks here.

Ok welp...here goes :)

Well Mitch I can tell you that what (IMHO) should happen is the following...

1. Set a timeframe for members to ask any questions and / or comment publicly in this thread. This will allow you abit of time for due diligence, reflection, a reference for any minimum price you might want to set publicly on the package, if you would (or should) consider parting it out, etc.

2. Set a window for offers via pm.

3. Have a hankie or some kleenex ready when the time comes to part ways.

Again, only one members opinion.

I wasn't going to let this linger for a few days to give as many
folks in here a chance.

Anyone is more than welcome to PM me with an offer.

I meant to say silent auction style in my post and forgot.

What I meant about discussing it here was, I know you all work together
at times when it comes to auctions and things. So I was leaving it open.

But otherwise just PM me with an offer and/or Questions . And of course the best offer wins.

This is my first time selling anything online like this so please be patient with me. If you have
any other suggestions on how I should handle it better just PM me :)

Thanks for the advice Ice...I'm a poet!!!!

P.S. No kleenex needed. I know it will be in great hands.

Well this one is giong to be hard to part with for certain. It looks nice and sounds nice. Thanks for the video. The back control cover should be easy enough to replicate as I am certain I can help with a template for one( I have the X810N) but should be the same size. The modules you have are also some of the nicer ones. The filter follower and phaser work well together and the others are also fun to play around with. You have the complete package in good shape minus the cover so you should have no problems getting some good offers here or elsewhere. I can guarantee it will have a good home here with any of my fellow forum members and wish all interested the best of luck. We are all friends here and always try to avoid the bidding wars of ebay etc and work these things out between each interested party. I urge anyone interested to give it some thought as these are very nice quality instruments and play very nice. I would say keep it all together as a package but there may be interest in the modules as seperate items also. Take the time to popnder it well before you part with her and then proceed to move on via PM or open forums. your choice. I wish all the best of luck as this is a nice group. Thanks Arthur

Very good thoughts, Arthur.

Like anyone else here who is interested I love getting a good deal. But in fairness to Mitch, who has already stated he really is not sure the entire package is worth, I think as a group we could help him in understanding what he might reasonably expect to make on what he is offering.

Anyone is free of course to pm him an offer at any time, and he is free obviously to accept an offer at any time. I was only speaking on behalf of his best interests as an admitted inexperienced seller.

Perhaps long winded but I hope my point is clear.

As requested Here are some more detailed brighter pictures. Everything works on the guitar minus pot scratches and posibely a new jack. Not sure. It cuts out from time to time when moving the chord.

I'm pretty sure we came down through the post agreeing to just keep it all together and sell it as a complete
package. Electra guitar, case and 8 modules. See list in first part of post.

Here are the pics.

Is it just me or does the striping on this guitar look just the same as the on used in the 1977 catalog?

I will go ahead and let the cat "peek" out of the bag, for now. Mitch and I are in the process of hammering out an acceptable price between us on this package. We are almost there and shipping is my only roadblock at the moment.

If anyone has ideas how to get this package to Minnesota from Ohio safely and CHEAPLY, please chime in.

Thanks guys.

It can't be much more than a 12 or 13 hour drive. Rent a limo and driver for a day or two and pick it up in style. This might be your only chance to pick up an X810 and look good doing it too. If the limo idea doesn't work for you - plan B should be a gold plated Lear Jet.

Guys...... it's sold. Mitch was more than accommodating in making it happen by helping me in picking up some of the shipping cost in order to keep it in my ballpark.

Thanks very much, Mitch. Now we just gotta find me an x110.

Mrs. Iceman is in for a really memorable Christmas Day!!!!

I am proud to say that this guitar is SOLD!!

I will let the proud new owner make his own post on their new toy.
But i'm sure everyone probably can already guess who.

It was a great pleasure working this out with him and I am very confident
that this guitar is going to a great home.

I definitely want to stick around in this forum for I find this to be a very humble
place to hang and talk shop. And watching on the bidding and buying going on, I
can see were EGAS can become a problem but a great enjoyment.

I want to thank EVERYONE who was involved and giving some great information and helping me
with the heartfelt decision. And all the great information I have learned about these cool guitars.

Thanks again to all
Mitch
