The crack through the body would scare me off (if I were even considering another axe right now), but I'm wondering if this might produce some good parts to rescue other restorable Electras...

If anyone is interested in this axe for the parts, I would love to buy one of the pickups from you. My x140 came with a minihumbucker squeezed into the bridge pup location. It sounds great by itself, but I don't think it sounds right with the remaining original pups... it pretty much drowns everything else out. I'm also a sucker for as all original as possible, so that non-original pup has been bugging me.

Usually cracks like those are just surface. I'd be a bit surprised if the body was really cracked. I'd say it's a player.

In that case, someone should snap that up!

Of course, that leaves me in the market to find a replacement pup someday...

I have a Vester Maniac that has a crack very similar to that (just not quite as bad) and it doesn't affect the playability at all....

There's always the hope that someone here buys and and doesn't want to keep the original? :P
