I agree completly. I had considered this one as I lost out on the last one to a sniper but I am going to abstain from this one as I already have a nice unique(bigsby) model and have others in the works now also. Good luck and I agreee that we should all work together to avoid the bidding wars as we all lose in the end of those as the prices jump up etc. Go for it and good luck. It is a unique logo and I think it may be the same one being flipped but did not notice the sticker the sticker so not certain. I would assume that this logo would be in very limited use as I had never even seen any like it in pics or literature. What say ye Tom oh master of the Electras?

I will not let this one slip through my fingers (BWAHAHAHA!!!!). Unless the price goes completely batsh%t. Lack of a case on models like these just doesn't make sense. A decent shell will cost an additional $130-$150 but has to be done IMO. Some people will also be put off by the "weird" headstock and the trapeze. To each his own I guess. I plan and hope to be victorious in the end with this.

C'mon jead, who are you kidding?

Between you, Arthur and myself we see about 93% of what is out there. It's just that we do not necessarily post about it.

I know. I worry about the other 7%. A lot.

I worry about the 1%... Occupy Electra! Wait, that doesn't make sense... I hate seeing these auctions with gig bags too, oh and when are people going to learn how to post pictures that are in focus? I always wonder if the bad pictures are on purpose to cover up flaws.

I used to have searches set-up on jumpbid.com to let me know, but after I transitioned to a smartphone for work, I found that I was seeing stuff earlier just because of the frequency of phone searches with my saved searches. :) and the jump bid alerts were stuff I had already seen :)

I'll need an assist on the 2236 first, but otherwise....

Did you notice that in some of the pictures it has 6 strings, and in others only 5? It would be cool to snag it for $500, but I have a feeling the reserve is set well above that. The photography stinks on this auction, I wish sellers would learn how to use their camera before posting. The jack-o-lantern is growing on me.

Agreed. I saw the string discrepancy too - also the 2 different backgrounds for pictures. Cell phone and other low quality pictures are annoying and sometimes deceiving. The pumpkin logo is borderline creepy - hope that keeps the price down. I kind of have the feeling the reserve will be pretty high as well but - we'll see.

According to the seller he started the first set of photos then broke a string while playing it and finished the other photos thus the 5 strings. I also think the reserve will be north of $650.00 or more.

I've pushed it to $444.44 now. I feel it's unlikely that a "good" deal will be had. I think I'm spoiled by how relatively inexpensive most Electra's are. This seller knows what he has - and is unlikely to let it go cheap IMO. Time will tell.
