Hi All,
And happy holidays to everyone.
Can someone tell me from the the link pic if these look to be the original MPC Module switches with the batwings missing or had someone replaced them.
Id like to know in advance what i'm looking at before purchasing a couple of switches from the shack.
The replacement ones linked elsewhere on this forum look to be a blade type lever instead of these which are round.
Many thanx in advance and a MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.
Jeff

Thanx a ton, fellas.
Just got a pair today, install to come.
I guess my next question would be to those that have installed these:
which terminals are used for which wires on the illustratted diagram on the wiring sticky?

1___________4
2___________5
3___________6
that is the terminal numbers looking from the back of the switch.
Hey, they recondition old cars with new parts, dont they? LOL
Again, many thanx in advance.
Jeff

Yikes, what a mess!
Opened the bass up, removing the pickguard and wadda ya know, not only had the switches been replaced but the grounding resistors are gone, the cap is placed between the middle tap on the tone pot to one of the taps on the mpc 2 selector switch, and it looks to be a 60v .05mf cap.

Im looking to take all the wiring back to original at this point and need to source the resistors and cap. I will also be acquiring the proper gauge and color of wire.

Might I ask what the wattage is on the 4.7m resistors and the voltage rating is on the cap.

Where is the best source for these items?
Thank you,
Jeff

here's a 720 I rewired...

the resistors came from radio shack. I've used the caps from there as well, but also gotten lots of stuff over the years from guitarelectronics.com

Thanx mcbrat,
I saw both those and wasnt sure which one to use.
I'll go with the original and hit radio shack for the components and wire.
The switches that are on it now are tiny little micro switches.

Thank you, Jead.
This bass is just fantastic, so suprising!
I love the solid feel of it, as well as the playability and tones.
Im smiling every time I pick it up, plug it in, and noodle away.
The rotosound swingbass strings are a perfect match for it in my opinion.
