Give him credit for honesty.

I am finding the same is true with the phase shifter modules I have for my wife's x810. Anyone have a post cached they can share on what to try to get them working on a more consistent basis?

Do you have the foam on the inside of your MPC lid and at the gap between the module and the compartment? You want the module to be seated firmly and in a way that it can't move around. Sometimes the insertion board on the module itself is loose but that should not cause a problem since all the electronics are mounted to that board.

I've used foam weatherstrip insulation on a couple different MPC bays before and it works for me.

As suggested by Thorny in 2005:

This works.
