I have a 2245 super rock in good shape, all original with question possibly it had the nut replaced at one time (not sure), and the saddles in the stock bridge are brass (stock bridge, but never seen one with brass saddles before, maybe they are stock?). Nicely figured top with iced-tea burst coloring, fairly clean finish on top. Back has a small belt-buckling chip near the belly-cut, and there is blushing on the headstock face (some milkiness) to the finish. Don't get me wrong. I am picking it to death so there are no surprises. It is an excellent example of the model in very good original condition. I polished the frets, set it up, even cleaned the frets and fretboard with GHS gorgomyte (look it up, good stuff - a new recommendation from me for your collections). This thing sounds fantastic, and really is loud acoustically. I believe I potted the pickups (I usually do on these - just I don't remember specifically doing these pickups). It includes the original clear pickguard. Has the original huge molded hardshell case in good shape as well. Probably late 70s - not sure - has the wave headstock. It is fully intonated, LP standard style inlays, and plays like a dream. I would not sell but I have an overabundance of dual humbucker guitars and am putting some of them up for sale. I also have an X330 that is quite a bit like this one(but an MPC) that I am extremely fond of. I just dropped the price to $399 + ship for this one.

I have other pictures of it at the link with some of my equipment (some of the other stuff is for sale as well). It is the electra in this group of guitars at this link. The x189 is not for sale in the pics. Also, I have a pic of my new Schneider custom build at the link too - not for sale. Some of the guitars there are sold already.

That's a nice 2245 there. I had one for a while that was a very good player. It's interesting that there's no 1st fret block inlay.

not really - it has the LP standard style inlays, and LP standards don't have the crown inlay there either. If it were a LP custom copy, it would have blocks (and one at the first fret). It is normal.

You are correct Sir. I went back and looked at my pictures of the old 2245 and it has the same neck style. I've been sniffing too much lacquer lately.

I don't know about on Electra's but I have a vantage with the chrome bridge with brass saddles.

This thing sounds unusually good - lots of volume when played acoustically. These normally do sound good, but this one is louder than all my current other guitars. It is louder than most 335s. It is a nice guitar.

I dropped the price and am bumping this to see if anyone is interested. If not, I will keep it. I have acquired several dual humbucking guitars and need to shed a few. It is a pretty good example of a super rock, with original pickups, hardware, and the hardshell case.

Just to update a relevant detail I'll ask if your price is still holding at $399?

Yes, $399 is the current price, I was asking more so I edited it. It is original (as far as I can tell) and w/orig case. Neck, action, intonation properly set - plays and sounds very good. It also is in better condition than most I see on the net.
