You are nearly there. Now if you wish the individual pictures to appear in the post here is the last step.

Run your mouse over the picture you want to post and stop it there without clicking. A menu of 4 choices should drop down and the lowest one in that list is the .img code link.

Click on the line of code in that 4th box and it should switch the text to say "copied". Now just return to the thread you are posting to on the Forum and click on the spot in the post you wish it to appear in and choose "paste", like this...

Presto!

~ Hey Iceman - so does the drop-down menu appear once you have the photo uploaded to Photobucket, or is this a feature in another services? My shots are in photobucket it does not give me that option. I am on an Apple Mac and maybe just stoopid. Would appreciate your advice!

I know the pix have to be uploaded then when they're saved to an album, I go to the album and click on the picture I want. That should open the picture to a a larger size and there should be the choices Iceman mentioned available off on the right side.

Click on the line of code in that 4th box and it should switch the text to say "copied". Now just return to the thread you are posting to on the Forum and click on the spot in the post you wish it to appear in and choose "paste", like this...

When I am in Photobucket the drop downs appear when I am looking at an album of pics in thumbnail display. Hovering the mouse should cause the same links to display as choosing them to look at full size as jead suggested. In any case you have the hang of it I see.

Really a nice looking instrument there, dr.

Seeing the photo so large has inspired me to do some Saturday cleaning - beginning with that headstock!

What is the easiest way to identify the year when it was made? There is no serno on the guitar but it is on the sales tag from when I bought it.

I am not as up to snuff as most around here on dating some of these models, maybe Mike will stop by for a more definitive answer. I can direct you here however...

The bolt-neck Workingman (men?) mostly didn't have serial numbers, and the ones that do (either foil tagged or stamped into neck plate) aren't very helpful for dating.

The workingman was made from '80 to '83, these last ones would have the phoenix bird logo like the one above in Drsyn's post, so that one is easy to date, 1983. The early ones have Mahogany bodies, after a few months they would go to a ash/maple plank body like yours. Yours is somewhere in between, from the neck plate graphics, I'd say 1982. It looks to be original to me, good find and welcome to Electra Fever, Mike.

Looking at the sales reciept of 3-15-83 I think you are on the money as far as it being an '82. There is no tag on the guitar but the salesman did write down the no. 61886 on the description for the reciept. At least I'm glad I kept the sales reciept, guarantee folder, and showroom price tag. Thanks for the info Mike.
