huh, I thought the 330 he had up had the transition headstock with the dip in the middle. I must have missed something. Anyway, good luck if anyone here bids!

How come the back Module plate on this isn't hinged?
Never seen this before?

Any thoughts on what this might be worth (in the real world).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ed

We've seen some with the MPC cavity cover screwed on before - a little unusual but not broken or modded - that's just the way some were. I am unacquainted with the real world and therefore not qualified to guess at prices. Also, prices seem a little unsettled lately with a pretty strong upward trend as far as I can tell.

Yeah, I suggested he sell everything seperately, so I guess I'm responsible for the "break-up" !! Maybe now someone here can get a decent deal on the guitar without having to pay what he thought the modules are worth (wasn't it $100 each ??)...and he ought to have an easier time selling, I see he has bids on all of it...

From my understanding ( I have a X340 with the same screw type cover also) the first generation of early MPC(mostly the open book or modified open book) had the thumbscrews instead of the hinges. They are very secure but not comfortable and hard to change oyt the MPC modules on the fly so the later improvements went to the one hinge models then the one most seen with the two hinges. Hope this helps out.
