The holy grail is here.

I won't bother bidding as I'm sure this thing will end at $1000+....

Here you go folks:

Looks like a pretty nice one overall, too.

Meh... an x910 would qualify as the Holy Grail.

This is more 'er less a Piece of the True Cross. Nice to see one pop up though...

lol, I've just heard it referred to as THG a few times.

I'm sure this baby will make someone a happy camper though! Hope someone on here can add it to there collection for a reasonable price... I know there's got to be a few people lacing up their boots for the battle that will ensue.

No battle - didn't you see I'm trying to contact the seller? Obviously EVERYONE WILL BACK OFF AND LEAVE IT TO ME! Obviously I'm wound a little too tight as well. I didn't mean to yell - just forcefully and firmly make a suggestion.

Well I noticed this one also has the supercharger sticker so I wonder if the kit was added or just the stickers not that it makes much difference. Nice Leslie. These are nice players but have a huge fat neck that can take some gettin used to at first. I like the one I have so I need no more doubles. Good Luck hope someone here scores it.

This will stay on auction so it's likely to skyrocket beyond my small brain and wallet capabilities. It's nice to see one surface. Seems like it's been a while. Too bad it's smashed up on that side. Not to beat a dead horse but the only thing super about the supercharger is the name. It does zip IMO. I have a factory install on an Outlaw and I installed one in my X330. At one point in time I had doubles of the X330 - one with and one without the mod. I couldn't hear any difference at all and I really wanted to.....

Sorry Jead, wasn't suggesting that someone else should bid... :o

Also you posted that as I was typing it, lol, so I didn't even know yet.

Too bad you couldn't grab it on the side, as it is in New Jersey.

And I hear the supercharger was mainly designed for Marty McFly :D no wonder you can't get it to work.

Here's my take on this Leslie West. Overall nice finish, yeah it has some paint missing, but what is there is darn respectable. The X120 I own also has a number of big chunks of finish missing, so there might have been something flawed about the recipe which makes it behave like that for all I know. The chunk that is missing is right where you'd rest your arm, so that may turn out to be uncomfortable, just as an observation. These are true Mahogany bodies, may have two or three slabs, but solid Mahogany just the same, and this one looks like it has nice straight grain.

Chrome bridge with Brass saddles, just like mine, so that is original. Bent batwings, can most likely be bent back, but you may not want to temp fate either. Here's the real curiosity, it has real 'bullseye' backed Grover tuners. Now, the Outlaws did have these exact tuners stock, but every Leslie I've seen up close have had unmarked Grover lookalike's installed. So, the jury is out whether these were installed later or if it came from the factory like that, the mounting holes would probably be identical. My gut instincts are that someone changed them. As a side note, a functioning set of Bullseyes routinely go for almost $200 alone on eBay.

'Thumb Cutters' control indicators are spun around on a couple of the pots, not the end of the world, but you have to wonder if someone was messing with the electronics at one time or another. Pickup selector top is white, and I think they should have been black. Not the end of the world, but again, you start to wonder if the switch has been replaced (not a biggie).

Two modules included, the venerable (and useful!) Phase Shifter and the Dynamic Fuzz. The Dynamic Fuzz was miss-named if you ask me. I've spent a lot of time with mine, and there is no 'fuzz' added if you set your amp ultra-clean. The DF is basically what the power overdrive SHOULD have been, its a mega booster, probably three times more powerful than the POD. Any distortion you hear is your amp clipping, which is basically what you want (if you ask me). The case looks worn, but functional and probably original.

It looks like a great little package to me, above average shape and some included goodies. This is without a doubt the rarest body style Electra made with a very cool neck joint. I don't think it'll go for a grand, but I could see it topping $700 to the right collector. Good luck to all who bid, Mike.

Right on the X330 - and I'm curious to see what happens with the Elvin listed too. None of the issues with the Leslie put me off. I plan to keep a VERY close eye on it and hope for the best.

At $1600 that Elvin is going NO WHERE. If fact, there are three Semi's in the stratosphere currently on greed bay, I predict we'll be looking at those auctions for months, and months, and months...
