This X930 looks decent - I haven't seen one in just over a year so...... you might want to get all over it. The price is actually pretty good too.

I've been watching that X930 (on the Bay) it's a little banged up, but not too bad.

Here's my theory on a guitar that doesn't show up too often - If everything works and it's not horribly defaced cosmetically - buy it, try it, if you like it - all is well and you can keep an eye out for another in better condition. I've upgraded many guitars this way over the years. In this particular case I don't think you can lose - the top looks pretty nice to me and I bet it's better in person (flash will show every imperfection), I can live with finish problems on the backs and sides - but that's just me. The TBE module alone is probably worth about $100.

Ok, I'll bite. My wish list:

2270 walnut stain thinline tele
X410 JazzStrad (yeah I know there's one at auction, but I'm a stingy booger)
X110 RockStrad (lightweight preferably)
X420vs (again, can wait for one at the right price)

Wouldn't mind snagging a 2259 Double Solid SG again, why did I get rid of mine... oh yeah, for the X910 Derringer. X510 always catch my eye, but I need to play one before I plunk down bucks on a single pickup Jazz Box.

Having said that, it's not like I have money in hand, but I do keep my eyes open. OK, enough dreaming, Mike.

I could back off the 410 if you want to take a run at it. I might also be persuaded to give up the 2259 I restored and converted to hardtail a while back. Shoot me a PM if interested.

hmm, and its already a stoptail thanks to your labor, and that was a lot of labor if memory serves. I don't know if I could be responsible for separating the two of you. As far as that X410 jazzstrad, that's going to go for like two mortgage payments for me, so I can't in good conscience swing that... but it sure is purty. Mike.

I probably wouldn't part with it anyway - I must have put something like 50 hours into correcting all my mistakes. It did turn out well though.
