That is a (fairly heavily) modded X810 Semihollow MPC. I've already informed the seller, but he hasn't changed the listing yet. The 5 way has been pulled out, and the three way switch is where the volume knob should be... curious. Also, tuners have been changed, witch-hat knobs are not correct. Lots of wear... It should go for like $500, but I have a feeling the reserve is set much higher than that.

I wouldn't be surprised if this one didn't go for 700 or so. Trend is kinda bass-ackwards it seems these days.

I'm leading the charge on this too but I do believe the reserve is someplace North of where I'll go. My max bid is in and I won't go higher (in case anyone wants to test, I'm considerably lower than some price speculation on this thread and a bit higher than another) I suspect we'll see this one re-listed.

Real interesting - with less than a minute to go the price went to $601.26. That looked like a valid bid but the reserve wasn't met. Then all of a sudden without any incremental jumps at all, the bid magically went to $800 - reserve met. How does that happen? I thought ebay would automatically make the bid after $601 ten bucks higher. How could it go right to $800??
Is that fishy????

OK - I get it ebay does the following - so I guess it's legit.

Other terms
In reserve price auctions, if your maximum bid is at least the reserve price, we'll automatically increase your bid to meet the reserve, and bidding will continue from there.

8 bills plus shipping for that miss ID'd frankensemi? Yeah, this is bad. I hope you've already scored a semi or two guys, because the days of finding reasonably priced ones are officially over.

Not only did this one have a ton of wear, but who knows what the new owner will find inside with the electronics being messed with. The seller really laid it on thick, and even after I told him that it wasn't a Elvin he never changed the auction title or description. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Being the stingy guy that I am, I may have to stick to solid bodies from now on! Mike.

Already took that advice months ago, Mike. :D But you are correct that prices are heading north rapidly.

Ugh a nice semi is one of the few things on my wish list that might budge money out of my wallet. Oh well.
