There are a couple of threads on this style guitar on the forum, most notably 'the first electra' by X189player who picked one up a while back. These are quite possibly the first guitars to wear the Electra name, and is most likely a PCM by the looks of the headstock.

Unlike the description by the seller (who should know better if they are truly guitar resellers), this is not a cross between a strat and a SG, it is a copy of a Hagstrom II (of all things!). Before the Japanese copied American guitars, they took artistic license with Swedish and Italian guitars, go figure.

What looks like wood grain on the back of the neck is actually about 40 laminations of maple, expect it to be heavy, and virtually indestructible! The store claims these are made by Matsumoku, and this is probably just a lucky guess on their part as it appears the necks probably were made by mat, but it is generally thought that Matsumoku didn't start making complete guitars until the 70's, and these Hagstrom copies are dated late 60's.
