Hey wondering if anyone can help me figure out more about my electra. I just got it the other day. I love how it sounds and plays but would just like to know a little more about it.

Thanks!

I am guessing that it is a 2245 Super Rock made about 1974-1976.

You do indeed have an early model 2245 Super Rock in great shape. Congrats.

Wouldn't an early model have the Electra logo in script form?

correct. the combination of open book with peace sign logo is probably '76. maybe late '75?

Thanks everybody! I had an epiphone les paul 100 but I just didn't like it. I came across this electra and I fell in love with her. Long story short sold the epiphone and bought her.

...and you'll be a happier camper for it. Liking the bridge pup on yours, looks to be a Maxon by the combo pole construction.

How's the sustain? Would Nigel T. be proud of it?
