Scored a 1989 Peavey Bandit 112 to go with the Peavey 112 SX cabinet I got last week. Paid a total of 159.00 forImage the pair. Came with a footswitch and the owners manual.

Great score. I like the Peavey Amps. I have a Bandit 112 blue stripe and also a Peavey Triumph 120.

Great score - from another Peavey amp owner - a 1984 Peavey Heritage VTX 212 combo.

I had a Peavey Bandit that I rescued from the trash. It didn't work. When I opened it up there was a piece of old fashioned Christmas tree tinsel laying across the pc board. I took that off and got ten years out of it before the caps started going. I gave it away when I moved.

Arthur - I have a Bandit 112 - what is the deal on the blue stripe? How do I tell if mine is a blue stripe?

The blue strip(teal) models were made here in the good ole USA and are usually far better amps than the ones from overseas. Here is a pic of the one I mentioned.

The stripe in question is the one on the front

Great amps and rock solid.

Only ever had one Peavey and it was smallish Backstage Plus (35 watter I think).

Not a bad little amp at all but I never truly bonded with it so down the road it went.

Shadowman...that amp and cab look great together. Bandits are tough little buggers, and sound pretty good too. Never used an extension speaker with the ones I've had though.
