Just wanted to wish all my friends a Happy, safe, and fun 4th of July Holiday as we here in the USA celebrate our independance. Grab those Electras, turn up the volume and rock on as you celebrate but please remember all those serving on active duty in our armed forces and also all of my fellow veterans past and present that have served and sacrificed so that we can all enjoy our independance and the 4th of July Holiday.

What many people don't realize is that Hendrix didn't go on until the Woodstock festival had officially concluded, and that there were only a (relative) handful of people still there the next morning (very few shots of the audience). The entire show is available on DVD, I think its about a 50 minute set. Happy Independence Day fellow Yanks.

Have a great 4th all (Yank or not). I have a pork shoulder on the smoker. In a little while I will grab a beer and play some bass. I will try to come up with some appropriate tunes.

Thanks to all of our Veterans (Arthur, Joe et. al.) as well as those serving presently and in the future. We all owe you a debt of gratitude for defending our freedoms.

Nothing says Happy 4th better than taking your wife out to your friendly local "freedom dealer" and have her pick out this...

Let Freedom Ring... and may God bless the United States of America!! :up: :up:

**EDIT: Just to be clear that pic is NOT of my wife.... she is far prettier than that.

Was away for the day on the 4th;

A belated Happy Fourth of July to all - and let's remember our veterans who continue to provide our freedom.

I played a 4th of July gig with my white Rail bass, that's close enough to an Electra right? :D
