Nice guitar :) I am not so sure the veneer is all that thin. It will not show where the finish was damaged by the Bigsby. In the photo of the pup route it looks to be a respectable thickness.

Spent time cleaning her up last night, to my Wife's chagrin. All I need now are to fill the holes, get some knobs and a selector switch tip (and eventually gold tuners) and I'll be set.

I wanted to take photos, but figured I should probably wait till it was all complete, rather than glut the forum with pics. She's looking amazing, however. :D

Cleaned up VERY well, I did the whole nine yards on her. Except for filling the little holes, still uneasy about doing that. And eventually I want the gold tuners as it should have.

Really digging this guitar now!

It was metric, yes. Knob height looks good to me, doesn't look out of place at all. Although I don't know how far the originals stand out. The quality of the knobs is pretty good. One of them was a little boogered up under the clear plastic, so I kept one that was already on there with three new ones. But you can't tell, they're identical.

I have two black ones, what kind do you need? Smooth or notched tops? I think I have one of each, don't remember... Let me know what you need and I'll help you out free.
