I did a bit of off-roading...



It was really dusty. we had wiped down the interior before we left....


I had a slight roll at the top of a hill climb. minimal damage. no injurys at 0.5 mph...

Looks like it was a great weekend. That vehicle has a very nice frame assembly and looks like it can withstand much more future enjoyment with no problems.

Felled trees, skidded logs and spent more time cursing out the ancient and formerly trustworthy logsplitter than actually splitting logs.

Nice! I start this weekend. I run a 029 Super with an 18" and 24" bar.

I believe it's now just over 20.

If it is that old it should indeed be one.

The engine displacement will tell you for certain. If it is 3.8 or larger you have one of the good ones in that size. It would also be marked as such on the carb cowling. I am dusting mine off later today and will take a pic to post.

It's a good saw. When it starts getting rough it usually needs to have the spark arrestor cleaned. Now I'm off to Philly area to do some chinking, staining and sealing on my brothers' log home.

my last 2 weekends have been working on my deck railing...

I am working on restoring a 1920's aluminum upright bass that my brother fished out of a dumpster. I can only work on it when I am up in Vermont as paint removal and woodworking are a bit rough in a NYC apartment.
