8) These are extreamly nice guitars especially if you like the SG style. Superb craftsmanship and tone abounds. This is the set neck version so that is a plus and as for price that is up to the buyer. i have seen most go from a range of around $800+ depending on condition and case etc so this one is not far off. Has some play wear etc but still nice so I would say make an offer as this one has been listed for some time and not sold as of yet. Good Luck

Yes it is solid mahoganywood. Here is the link to info on this model.http://www.rivercityamps.com/electrapag ... 006-030454

The Sg models varied in style and construction more than any other Electra models over the years. Here is the one I have to compare

Thanxs for the reply and the Info. I really like these. Can u tell me if your neck joint is stable. Im mean if you put some heavy gauge strings on it like say 11-52 does the strings pull the neck enough to require a truss rod adstment you can tell by the action getting higher or just by slightly pulling on the neck and watching string height. I had a few 70s Gibson SGs that were like that and although sounded great I ended up selling em because of the weak neck joint problems that caused tunning problem while playing.
Sorry for all the Questions but I figured Id bug u since u have one and Im trying to get the one on Ebay

I have had no problems with the neck joint on this one. Solid as a rock. It is as most this style in the fact that you can press down on the headstock and get a little tremelo type motion but nothing that would denote a weak spot or joint. I love this one as the action is set extreamly low and it almost plays itself. The bolt on necks can have a bit more give in them sometimes but a good spacer and a tight fit is easy to do. These are great players and most of my friends that play SG's find it far superior to the Gibsons they have. Good luck in your endeavor to get that one. I would make note that his hardware is worn etc and so far as I know this model never had the brass or gold hardware so you may have a little wiggle room to play with if it is not 100% original and it has been listed several times and seller has lowered the price so I would make him an offer and see what happens. I would think anything from around $800 + would be a good price as it is a set neck version. Good Luck
