I just bought a pretty nice X-410 from 1975 ( I think). It's got the "open book" headstock and peace sign tuners. Two questions.......

Does anyone know if the X-410 semihollow originally came with an Anvil type flight case or was the case just a normal hardshell one?

The trapeze on it is like a Gibson "diamond". Looks as old as the guitar, but that doesn't always mean it's original, of course. Did this one have the fancy bent wire one or did it also have a plain one?

Hi. I think the X-410 came a normal hardshell case made in Japan. Anvil cases are aftermarket items(high quality ones for sure). The tailpiece you describe is probably originally from a Gibson. Every original Electra I've seen since the 70's had the bent wire tailpiece. I have a bent wire tailpiece but it's nickel not gold. You may be able to get a bent wire tailpiece at stewmac.com(I think). Post pictures as soon as you can so the rest of us can drool and envy you:-)!. Welcome aboard.
