Here is one for the collectors. Too bad electra badging is removed, but the body is definitely an Electra. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/msd/3570943842.html

My sentiments exactly Arthur;

What a waste -

So much for the need to improve it by ripping out all the good stuff.

Just about everything but the wood has been changed. No truss rod cover, I don't think the nut is original, pickups, pickup surrounds, has the larger 'Harmonica' bridge now, knobs, all the wiring... I can't tell for sure but I think even the pickguard has been changed too. The tuners look to be original.

I bet it plays well, but it is a shame to be sure. I still think these look pretty sharp with the four knobs in a row. Good luck to anyone willing to take on this expensive project, Mike.

Hopefully...the headstock face has been painted over instead of sanded off and the logo can be returned to it's splendid glory easily.

Neck joint looks like there may be some concern there also.....wish there were better pics.

EDIT: I emailed the shop and he said that the headstock face is a paint-over.

Same here J.D. I asked for pics and got them as well. All mpc components are gone, pickups changes out, tuners, body, and pickguard are all that remain original. The neck joint looks OK just discoloration from the old glue joint I guess. I do not think he will get his asking price unless someone just falls in love with it and does not care what it is. :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: :bawl: Glad to see it played again but wish it was still original. :bawl: :bawl: :bawl:

That's how I got my 910, I got a 320 that had been sat on by a "big-boned" gentleman for an electronics donor to put it back.

Guys.....amazing fining this converation thread on here I spotted the ad a few days ago...before I knew of this site. I had another X910 that I sold years ago to help pay legal fees in a custody case (I won, had a lawyer dis-barred, ugly and expensive battle). I bought this one!!!! Traveled down the same day....had to have it. Took my daughter (now 7) with to get it...was quite triumphant. The logo was under a light coat of paint...it's cleaned off now, looks beautiful!!! This guitar will soon be back to it's original glory.

Someone RSVP how to post a pic (this is my 1st post)

Guys....if anyone can RSVP with a quick summary of how to post pictures, I'd love to post a few of this X910. The headstock was absolutely gorgeous (after removing a coat of balck paint...go figure?). I'd like to post a few other pictures as well, have been collecting Electras for almost 30 years now....
This is my 2nd X910, bet there are not many people can say that?
