I have a X340 that I bought new and still play nearly everyday. I have been speculating on getting one of the Workingman type models. Question; what is the neck profile like on these? The neck profile on my Lester Paul X340 fits my hand like it was custom fit to it. Are the Workingman style Electra's the same or (shrudder), or like the thin 60's Gibson style which I hate. Thanks! :hyper: :hyper:

I have an X340 and an X330 -

The X330 has more of a 1959 LP fat neck;

The X340 neck has customized feel to it -

Appears to be shaved down a bit and feels somewhat narrower towards the headstock;

Action is great on both and each are unique in playability.

I switch back and forth on them and enjoy each one.

It has been my experience that the MPC LP's have a bigger neck profile than any of the slab bodied X200's (x280,X290, X260, X250 and X270). The difference isn't huge, but is noticeable to me. I would not say that they are as thin as some of the 60's SG's, but to me the Workingmen are very comfortable.
