Should have posted here first I guess. I'm assuming we are talking Super Magnaflux.

I should have answered here rather then there, but i saw that one first. But the idea is classic PAFish output works well there, and unpotted is part of the flavor. So, I have an unpotted harmonic designs humbucker in one and it does well. Potting pickups can take a bit of "airy-ness" or top end off the pickup. It is that type of humbucker thing that has the punch of a single coil - you can loose that with potting. Don't get me wrong, if pickups need it I pot them. But part of the magic sauce is that they not be too hot, PAF-class - and unpotted. Uncovered helps too.

Here is the real thing, like I said, expensive, but not as much as some of the boutique replacements.

Oh yeah, it isn't mine and i don't know who it is, so no connection there. Ends in a day or so, so better hurry if interested or wait and hope for a less expensive one to possibly show up.
