So I've played strats all my life recently borrowed my dads mint condition X320. I fell in love with how it played and sounded. I'm not real knowledgeable on electra guitars. My hands a big for the strat. But this 320 fit like a glove. Are all the LP look alikes the same neck? I've had a hard time finding a nice 320 but have run across other LP styles.

Thanks

The Omegas and MPC's have a substantial feel to them, although I can not say if they have the exact same neck profile. The bolt neck 'Super Rock' models probably have some variance in neck profile as they were made by a number of different Japanese Factories over the years.

If you are really picky about neck size and feel, I'd encourage you to look for local purchases where you can actually sit down with the guitar and establish what kind of shape the Action and Electronics are in, as well as determine if you like the feel of the neck. This is always the best route for buying, not only do you get to see the guitar up close and don't have any 'surprises' when it shows up, but you also don't have to pay shipping, or compete with every other Electra buyer nationwide. Good luck, Mike.

Welcome. I don't remember my 310 having a chunky neck. If we ever get some spring, I will finish restoring it and give it a comparison.

Had nearly 9" of snow here in the past 2 days so save it, mister... :x

I live in an apartment in NYC but have a house in Vermont. My restoration projects are done up there in the unheated garage. We just got six fresh inches of snow. Its supposed to get into the 40's today though. Still to cold for reliable gluing results.

Still I have let a lot of warm weather go by without finishing the hulk.

I shouldn't jump on this post like this but I have a X320 in the classifieds.. has the big 50's style neck.. feels like the 50's neck on my LP... Check out my listing even if you are not interested... a little more reference for you.
