Greetings!

First, wanted to say thanks for hosting such a great and informative forum. Learned a lot about the Electra brand and models thanks to the friendly folks here. I've been keeping my eye out for a while for a Workingman (which I've found now, though that's a story for another post) and in my pawn shop travels recently I came across a really sharp Westone/Electra X190. Picked it up, cleaned it up, but not sure if I want to keep it so I thought i'd put the word out here if anyone's interested.

Super comfortable body (maple? looks like 4-5 pieces under the finish), nice smooth neck (1 5/8" at graphite nut) has fret wear commensurate with age but very much playable. No dings or dents at all, though it looks like at some point the upper strap button stripped out. High-mass trem block, no arm, and saddles could stand to be replaced.

Guitar sounds awesome. All pots and switches work great, including the humbucker split and phase switch for middle pickup. Single coils polepieces are adjustable screws, and I expected an MMK45 in the bridge but instead found a vintage Seymour Duncan JB (JBJ sticker). Nice! Forgot to take a photo of that before I put it back together but can if anyone's interested.

Photos are here, it's a hard color to capture (metallic olive, Silver Stone apparently):

Really great guitar, just not sure it it's really a great guitar for me right now. Make an offer if you're interested, and if not no worries, maybe I'll grow to love it! Thanks again for the great site.

ps I'm not much of a forum writer, but I will drop my Workingman story here sometime down the line.

Hey, thanks for having me. I've got it listed locally on CL for $250 which seems reasonable for what it is, but then nobody really knows what it is. That's the Electra story in a nutshell right there I suppose.

Next up: getting my Workingman in working order. Can't wait!
