Hey y'all first time poster. I play piano some myself, and although I wanted to learn the guitar, after over 18 years of not doing it I'm facing the fact that it's not going to happen. Somebody gave me this 2242 Electra when I was 12 and the insides are a bit corroded. I think with some phosphoric acid on a paintbrush it should work, or you may have to repair it. But y'all would know more about that. The exterior has a chip on it and the back is scratched up a bit in one spot. I'll post pics for anyone who's interested but wanted to get a feel for whether or not anyone was. I'll sell it for $160, which I know is a steal but the statement above makes it pretty clear that I don't have much use for it. And y'all are the enthusiasts so I would want someone to enjoy it for the good price. I have not posted on eBay or anywhere else. I would just want the shipping to be paid. Don't know how much that would cost, but again I'm thinking y'all might know.

I've got 3 or so PMs asking for photos. I'm not gonna get greedy and ask for a higher price but there has to be some way to decide who wants the guitar. So y'all either decide amongst yourselves or open-forum style say how much you'd rather pay than the asked $160. That way I'm not pitting you privately against yourselves, you know what you've offered and I guess whoever wants it will get it.

From looking at the pictures it seems to me that the guitar you have is an x290 workingman not a 2242 super/black rock. The one and 1/2 cut 2242 guitars I have seen has white binding around the body edge. Forgive me if I am wrong but I have only looked at the pictures on my iPad.

Yep, a Workingman. They are a bit under appreciated. I like mine a lot. $160 for one if good shape is a reasonable price.
