Hey there guys,

I've got two beautiful Spectrum ST's that are a bit bright. I'm looking to experiment with swapping some bodies of possibly darker tone woods. The necks are perfect. I know there were a few electra models that look just like my ST's, that weren't maple based (I think I've seen a mahogany with maple and possibly a walnut?), Please let me know if you have anything available.

Don't have a body for you, but also consider alnico II pickups. Probably cheaper than a body, a little less top end, or possibly a little smoother top end. I have a custom guitar with a lot of maple in the body, and it was the same way. I put a pair of Tone Rider Rocksongs (alinco II) pickups in it and they sounded better than anything else by far. Those pickups might sound a bit dark in some guitars, but the guitar was exceptionally bright so the pickups balanced it out.
