I don't know for sure if it is original to that model but it is far more common to see brass nuts replaced with bone or plastic than the other way around. BTW may I be the first to say Pics Please on you new axe?

Thanks for the responses, but what I was trying to determine was whether the X220 Omega could have come from the factory with a brass nut. It seems unlikely, as plastic was cheaper, but I have seen several pictures of people's Omega X220s that have been captioned with "all original" or "stock" and they have brass nuts. I recently purchased a X220 that appears stock and has a brass nut.

I was trying to determine if anyone out there knew for sure if any X220s would have left the factory in Japan with brass nuts.

Thanks
Tim

P.S. Anyone have a source for the chrome and plastic paddle switches from the Omega series?

The X220 shown on the model page looks like it has a brass nut. http://www.rivercityamps.com/electra/x220.php

I've had 3 of the X220's-all completely stock as far as I could tell, all 3 had brass nuts
