According to this page: http://www.rivercityamps.com/electrapage/comments.php?y=07&m=10&entry=entry071015-023616, it says "early models have been reported with diagonal logo.but by the time they appeared in the 1977 catalog this would have been replaced by the wave headstock and peace sign logo", so can anyone tell me exactly what year my guitar is, or should I assume that it's probably a 1976, and would this be classified as "pre-lawsuit" and if so, what would the value of this guitar in "excellent" condition be?

I would tend to agree that both guitars are most likely 1974-1976 models and the one with the star tuners more likely to be around a 75 or so since the tuners also changed from the star tuners to the electra logo tuners later. If both are in pristine excellent shape and in 100% working order I would place them both comfortably in the $400-$500 range if in mint condition. If they show some playwear and nicks etc you can go down from there but at a minimum if in playing condition I would estimate them to go for no less than $300 and at best $500. Nice guitars. I would say 3-4 range for a bolt on model.

Yes prices would go from a Low of $300 to a high of $500 great guitars.
